I do kind of like this, but I can see why for some it takes away the challenge too much. The game is pretty large in its scale, but it does hold your hand and lead you to the next objective very well so it is harder to get lost than not. Taking out a leg before going for the headshot for example. The fact of the matter is, you really have to try and be more precise with your shots.
So while you may want to just shoot like a maniac and in some cases, you may have to just let the bullets fly and hope for the best. Like before you have to dismember the Necromorph’s in order to kill them. The game gives you a great range of weapons that you can use. This is very much an action game at its heart.
While there is certainly a lot of sections that are going to make you “jump” as you play Dead Space 2. You might very well say that it is “eye-opening” if you know what I mean. One thing I want to say about the story is the opening section is truly amazing stuff. You once again play as Isaac as you do all you can to survive the horror. This time around the Necromorph’s have taken over a whole city and the infestation is just going to get worse.
